Tips regarding substitutes:
- The entire sub list is available on the website. You access the website by entering:
www.adorationpro.org/ihmmi - then click on “find a sub” - enter the password which is “subpass” - and finally click on “Manually Find A Sub From A List”
This gives you the list of volunteers along with phone numbers, email addresses and
day/time availability. You can ‘print screen’ so you have a hard copy of the list if
desired. - New to the software is the ability to see the Sub Request Log. You access the log by following the first three steps outlined above but instead of clicking on “Manually Find … “ you click on “Sub Request Log”. At this time it’s a static display of information only - you can’t do anything from this screen except to look at what requests have been made, which ones have been secured, and which ones remain ‘open’.
- If you are a member of a ‘cluster’ and have a need to find a sub, your first ‘go-to’ should be other members of the ‘cluster’. See if another member would cover your hour or see if you can’t trade the hour among yourselves. If you can’t secure coverage that way then go to the website and make your request through “Find A Sub”.
- If you have a prayer partner, and you know you won’t be able to be in the chapel for your assigned hour - check with your partner and if they are planning to be there no other action is required. We are only required to have one person in the chapel at all times the Eucharist is exposed.
We’re very fortunate to have this beautiful chapel and the many people dedicated to the Adoration Ministry. Let’s spread the word about the many blessings available, and encourage others to get involve by committing to one hour a week before the Blessed Sacrament.
