 Jesus Is the Example

“We know Jesus prayed regularly.  And He bids us to do the same.  He tells us to share our troubles and concerns with God, to petition Him, to thank Him, and to praise Him for His many blessings, including life itself.  He encourages us to bring our shortcomings and sins to Him with contrite, humble hearts in times of prayer as well as in the sacrament of reconciliation.”

Following Jesus’s example it’s important to find some quiet time and moments in the midst of our busy days to strengthen our relationship with God.  We need to learn to bless, praise, and openly call on God and the Holy Spirit to intervene in our lives so we can experience the peace that can come from spending time with our Eucharistic Lord.  This is not as hard as some think it is … God is Love … and the closer we get to Love the easier it gets to find those moments to strengthen our relationship with God.  The more you do it, the easier it becomes.
