The Eucharist Holds Many Gifts

Christ’s Presence In The Eucharist

Saint Pope John II in his encyclical letter, Ecclesia de Eucharist, draws our attention to the fact that, “In the Eucharist we have Jesus, we have his redemptive sacrifice, we have his resurrection, we have the gift of the Holy Spirit, we have adoration, obedience and love of the Father.” All of this Jesus gives us if we only meet him in the Adoration Chapel, and sit quietly in his Presence surrendering to his action within our heart and soul.

Sacred Heart of Jesus / Immaculate Heart of Mary

Feast of the Most Sacred Heart of Jesus (6/12) / Feast of the Immaculate Heart of Mary (6/13)

Sacred Heart of Jesus

When we contemplate the Sacred Heart of Jesus, our hearts change.  We want to have his heart.  We want to be changed.  We want to love with his heart.  It’s something real.  Something we can’t teach so much as show.  The most effective preacher radiates love from his heart.  And we then better understand our thirst for him and even more remarkably, his thirst for us.  Devotion to the heart of Jesus is especially directed to the "divine heart" as overflowing with love for humanity.

Immaculate Heart of Mary

Devotion to the Immaculate Heart of Mary refers to the view of the interior life of Mary, her joys and sorrows, her virtues and hidden perfections, and above all, her virginal love for God, her maternal love for her son Jesus Christ, and her motherly and compassionate love for all mankind.  In the devotion to Mary, however, the attraction is the love of her heart for Jesus and for God.

Happy the soul which maintains a loving devotion to both.

New Life Can Be Your's

Jesus Offers You New Life

“The Holy Trinity dwells in our hearts to be loved and adored by grace.  Grace is a participation in the life of the Trinity that flows through the Cross of Christ into the depths of our being.  Producing all kinds of beautiful thoughts and desires, this new life allows God to give Himself to us so that we can enjoy His presence more and more.  A holy thought that moves us to love makes our mind like Christ, and the stirring of holy affections that move us to love and devotion renders our heart like the Holy Spirit.”  (Fire From Above - Dr Anthony Lilles)

No relationship can survive without quality time together.  Find a convenient hour during your week and improve your relationship with God by spending time with him in Adoration.  If you improve your relationship with the Holy Spirit you’ll improve your relationship with the Trinity.  Wow, that’s a force multiplier you can’t deny.
