Venerable Fulton J. Sheen enthusiastically promoted the making of Holy Hours during his lifetime. He stated, “During a Holy Hour we grow more and more into His (Christ’s) likeness.” He also remarked, “The only time our Lord asked the Apostles for anything was the night He went into agony. Not for activity did He plead, but for an Hour of companionship.”

Believe Without Seeing
Faith helps us realize this with conviction: The most important thing that you will do this week is spend an hour with Jesus in the Blessed Sacrament. Your willingness to participate in Eucharistic Adoration is a precious expression of your faith that Jesus in the Blessed Sacrament is welcomed, loved, and adored by you.

Top Three Benefits Of Eucharistic Adoration
Our Lord Jesus said “And behold, I am with you always, until the end of the age.” (Mt 28:20)

Faith and the Eucharist
We don’t see Jesus the same way the Apostles did; but we can say that as we mature in our relationship with God, our prayer transitions into seasons of simply looking at God as the Divine gazes at us. This is what the spiritual masters call contemplative prayer. St Teresa of Avila says “Contemplative prayer … is nothing else than a close sharing between friends; it means taking the time frequently to be alone with Him who we know loves us” (CCC 2709)
“The more time we spend face-to-face with Jesus in the Blessed Sacrament, the more we will long for a deeper intimacy with our Lord in Holy Communion at Mass. As we pray before the Blessed Sacrament exposed in the Adoration Chapel, our souls are fed by the Person of the Savior in the two faculties of spirit that need to be constantly fed. Are You Ready For The Blessings Of Easter?

So if you ever wonder if Our Lord hears you when you pray why not visit him in the chapel where he is truly present Body, Blood, Soul and Divinity and praying sitting face-to-face in his presence you know he cannot help but hear your every word.
Mary Is Our Model Of Faith And Our Perpetual Help
She believed that this Infant, this Child, this young Man was no mere human being. She knew He was human, but she believed in His divinity because her mind penetrated beyond the veils of what her eyes and ears and hands could experience. Faith penetrates. Faith sees. Faith knows what the senses cannot perceive and even the human reason cannot comprehend. Mary saw. It cannot be too strongly emphasized or too often insisted that Mary had to live by faith. She saw only a helpless, speechless baby, yet she believed He was the almighty Word of God.
This is the first foundational lesson we learn from Mary in our veneration of the Holy Eucharist. Like her, we must come before the Blessed Sacrament with total undiluted faith. We believe that which the pagan, sophisticated, over-educated world tells us is a dream. When we come before the Blessed Sacrament, we need to break through the crust of what the senses perceive and what the mind rationally would tell us, believing more than we can see, believing more than we can touch, believing more than we can experience with our senses or even fathom with our minds. This is why we speak of Our Lady as the model of our faith. “Oh Mary, Virgin most faithful, pray for us that our faith may become more and more like yours.”

If we can adore the Eucharistic presence of Christ when reposed in a tabernacle, why do we then need to expose the Blessed Sacrament on an altar? It is not essential for exposition to take place to have Eucharistic Adoration, yet people report experiencing a greater sense of intimacy with Jesus and attentiveness of mind and heart to prayer when they are able to actually ‘see’ our Eucharistic Lord. But the best reason for having exposition of the Blessed Sacrament is simply that God wills it. During His Eucharistic discourse, Jesus made this unmistakably clear: “Indeed, this is the will of My Father, that everyone who looks upon the Son, and believes in Him, shall have eternal life, and I shall raise him on the last day.” (Jn 6:40)

Silent Adoration
Deep love doesn’t always need words. At times, they get in the way. It’s presence, the being there together, the being with each other, that says what words are incapable of saying. Never underestimate the power of your silent presence in our Adoration Chapel.
A Treasured Hour
For most of us a ‘daily’ visit is difficult if not impossible. Our schedules and ‘life’ simply get in the way. I remember a saying often used by a nun who taught me when I was in the 6th grade; sister often said, “If you really want to do it, you will find a way” (you can probably all relate). If you really want to spend time with God you will find at least an hour a week for Eucharistic Adoration. Outside of Sunday Mass that hour will become your most treasured hour of your week - guaranteed. You will not know the full value and benefit it brings you until you are face-to-face with our Lord. At that time, Jesus, just maybe instead of listening to all your ‘thank you’s’, will be saying ‘thank you’ to you for spending your time with Him in Adoration.

Renewal Is Centuries Old
God used St. Peter Julian Eymard (1811/1868) to renew Eucharistic devotion in 19th-century France, making him a fitting example and patron for our own nation's Eucharistic revival.
In his preaching St Peter Julian Eymard underlined the urgency of Eucharistic Adoration for the renewals of Catholic parishes and of the world:

It’s time we all participate in the Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament asking Our Lord to renew our parishes and society.
If You Can’t Trust Jesus, Who Can You …
Jesus repeatedly tells us to ‘trust’. St Paul in his letter to the Corinthians says “You can trust God not to let you be tried beyond your strength, and with any trial He will give you a way out and the strength to bear it.” (1 Cor 10:13)
Day and night Jesus dwells in the Blessed Sacrament because of His infinite love for us! “Behold I will be with you always even to the end of the world”, because “I have loved you with an everlasting love, and constant is my affection for you.” (Mt 6:16; Her 31:3)
Jesus suggests one way to love Him in return is to spend one quiet hour with Him each week in the Blessed Sacrament. “Could you not watch one hour with Me?” (Mt 26:40)
Don’t be apprehensive about committing an hour a week; place your ‘trust’ in Jesus knowing He will not test you beyond your strength. The rewards are ‘priceless’.
