Peace I Will Give You

Peace, Peace, I Will Give You Peace!

Sitting silently in the presence of God is one of the most beautiful gifts He offers us.  Jesus tenderly and lovingly is      saying to us, “Just sit with Me”.  You don’t have to have a mental prayer running through your head, nor be reciting a litany from a prayer book, nor fingering your rosary beads.  Sit quietly, close your eyes, and know He is so close to you that if you could see Him you could reach out and touch Him.  Remember where Jesus is there also is God the Father and God the Holy Spirit, as well as the Church Triumphant.  How fortunate we are to be baptized into the Church Militant.

This week as you go about putting together the puzzle pieces to make sence of your schedule remember that you also need to have ‘Jesus time’.  If you would spend 10 or 15 minutes of Chapel Time once or twice a week in Eucharistic Adoration you will find His Peace.

The Presence of the Heavenly Court

Our Savior has brought Heaven to earth by giving us Himself in the Most Blessed Sacrament, for He is the same God who is in Heaven, surrounded by His angels; and in His presence in our chapel we can associate ourselves with all the heavenly court who form an invisible guard around Him.  You would deprive yourself of the sweetest joys of your life if you failed to come and pour out your love and petitions before His real presence.  He allows Himself to be the true refuge of our souls, where we can find comfort, guidance, strength, peace, sanctity, and happiness.  Even though the burdens of our lives seem almost unbearable at times, we all have a Friend who will never fail us - God in the Holy Eucharist.  His Sacred Heart calls to each of us, “Come to me, all who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.”  (Matt. 11:28)

In our world more than 360,000 Masses are offered every twenty-four hours, or four elevations of the Eucharist each second.  Praise Be Jesus!

Feast of the Assumption 2026

Chapel of the Holy Eucharist - Feast of the Assumption Aug 15

Mary was assumed into heaven and at the throne of the Holy Trinity the three Divine Persons received and welcomed her in a mystical embrace of eternal love, after she had bowed before Them in deep humility and reverence.  She was attired in a marvelous sparkling robe that trailed behind her and scintillated with multicolored iridescence.

Then the Eternal Father announced to all the angels and saints:

"Our Daughter Mary has been chosen by Our Will from among all creatures as the first in Our favor, and she has never fallen from the position of a true Daughter.”

The Incarnate Word declared:

"To My true and natural Mother belong all the creatures that I have created and redeemed.  And of all things over which I am King, she too shall be the rightful Queen."

And the Holy Ghost said:

"By the title of My only chosen Spouse, to which he has faithfully corresponded, the crown of Queen is also due to her for all eternity."

Become More like Him

One of the great benefits of Eucharistic Adoration is our ability to sit in his Real Presence and to be able to simply converse with him and enjoy his presence, which enables his heart to ‘rub off’ on ours.  When we spend time with a friend - simply conversing with him/her and enjoying their presence that person tends to influence us, and so it is with our companionship with Jesus in the Eucharist.  We all need to spend time becoming more like Him.
