Feast of the Assumption 2026

Chapel of the Holy Eucharist - Feast of the Assumption Aug 15

Mary was assumed into heaven and at the throne of the Holy Trinity the three Divine Persons received and welcomed her in a mystical embrace of eternal love, after she had bowed before Them in deep humility and reverence.  She was attired in a marvelous sparkling robe that trailed behind her and scintillated with multicolored iridescence.

Then the Eternal Father announced to all the angels and saints:

"Our Daughter Mary has been chosen by Our Will from among all creatures as the first in Our favor, and she has never fallen from the position of a true Daughter.”

The Incarnate Word declared:

"To My true and natural Mother belong all the creatures that I have created and redeemed.  And of all things over which I am King, she too shall be the rightful Queen."

And the Holy Ghost said:

"By the title of My only chosen Spouse, to which he has faithfully corresponded, the crown of Queen is also due to her for all eternity."

The Queenship of Mary

 The Queenship of Mary

August 22nd is the Memorial of the Queenship of the Blessed Mother.

"Mary was assumed into heaven and at the throne of the Holy Trinity the three Divine Persons received and welcomed her in a mystical embrace of eternal love, after she had bowed before Them in deep humility and reverence.  She was attired in a marvelous sparkling robe that trailed behind her and scintillated with multicolored iridescence.

Then the Eternal Father announced to all the angels and saints:

"Our Daughter Mary has been chosen by Our Will from among all creatures as the first in Our favor, and she has never fallen from the position of a true Daughter.  Therefore she has a claim to Our Kingdom, of which she is to be acknowledged and crowned the lawful Sovereign and Queen."

Our Lady was the first holy tabernacle of the Body, Blood, Soul and Divinity of Our Lord Jesus Christ, really, truly, wholly and entirely present in her by His incarnation.  Hope you are able to spend time this week in Eucharistic Adoration following the example of our Heavenly Mother.

Pray Until You Hear God

If You Listen Closely You WILL Hear It!

“Listen” … that’s the first word Jesus said as he began to preach to the crowd from the boat along the shore (Mk 4:3).  That very word is as important today as it was 2000 years ago.  He has something to say to each of us; and I’m afraid we might miss it if we don’t slow down, unclutter our lives, our minds and hearts, and just ‘Listen’.

Spiritual listening begins small, within intimacy and friendship.  Spending quiet time in the chapel is a good place to open our minds and hearts in an effort to just ‘listen’.  Visit our chapel, and place yourself in the presence of God, entreat him to inspire you by offering this simple prayer:  “Eternal Father I surrender to your presence and action within” - God will do the work - you just ‘listen’.
