Jesus Offers You Comfort and Peace

You’re Invited!   “Come to me all you who are …”  Is Not An Empty Promise

“It’s true that the voice of God is a still, small voice.  His is one that comes in the silence, the silence we sometimes fear because it is in that quiet that our heart is laid bare, not only for us to see but for God as well.  We forget that he already knows us better than we know ourselves.”  (Merridith Frediani)

“Eucharistic Adoration is an invitation from the Almighty, the One who created everything out of nothing.
It’s an invitation to be in the very presence of a king, our King.  Imagine, we sinful, fallen, messy humans are invited, welcomed, and encouraged to be with our Lord and God.  It is this silence that we discover who we truly are.  Yes, we are sinners who stumble and lurch through this life, but we are also the beloved children of God.  We are desired.  We are wanted. We are espoused to him.  He wants us to bring him this mess because he can heal us.” (Merridith Frediani)

When the pressures and disappointments of life seem to weigh heavy and you would like the opportunity to find peace, it’s time to think ‘Eucharistic Adoration’.
It is here you are able to hear Jesus’ gentle comfort and encouragement.  And we know the more we trust and lean on him, the more helpful his actions become.

Listen To The Voice of God

 Listen And You Will Hear

God always communicates with us, but to hear and understand the voice of God, you have to quiet your world and truly listen — “Speak, Lord, for your servant is listening.” (1 Samuel 3:9)

If truly listening you would hear Jesus’ invitation to spend an hour with Him in Adoration.
He invites everyone to get to know Him better by spending time in His presence and to become fully aware that the benefit of time spent with Him in this manner is priceless.

Over the twenty-four years IHM has had Eucharistic Adoration, graces received by our parish and to those parishioners spending time regularly before the face of God have been innumerable.
Every parishioner should want to participate because if we could see what’s happening at the Divine Level there would be no room in the chapel for additional people (24-7).

God gives us 168 hours every week — one of those hours should be spent at Mass - and I challenge you to show me anyone who could not free up one additional hour that could be spent in Eucharistic Adoration.

Listed below the current Adoration hours we need help filling by someone who would commit to being there every week.  This just may be the opportunity that God wants to tell you about if you would stop long enough to listen.  Don’t be afraid of getting stuck with a commitment, for we have a very good substitute program of volunteers ready to step in when a committed Adorer cannot fulfill their weekly hour.

Recognition Before The Face of Jesus

Recognition Before the Face of Jesus

Jesus constantly reminds us that He is always here for our support.
He asks in turn that we be here for Him by seeking His Eucharistic Face in Adoration.  He wants us to know that His Eucharistic Heart is open to receive, to comfort, to strengthen, and to purify us in the Blood and Water that ever flows from His pierced side.

Our Lord sees all adorers before His Face and rejoices in their presence.  He blesses them with all the tenderness of His Eucharistic Heart.  Take advantage of these wonderful graces by spending an hour a week before Our Lord in Adoration.

"Adoration helps to create and deepen within our hearts that silence within which the voice of God is heard."     Anthony DeMello
